Resolution
At The Bonanno Firm, I handle all types of personal injury claims. These claims range from automobile accidents, to slip and falls, to medical malpractice and wrongful death.
My goal is to handle each claim personally. I pride myself on being available to talk directly to my clients and will do everything I can to assist you through what could be the most traumatic experience of your life. Prior to opening The Bonanno Firm, I worked at a large, state-wide firm and defended insurance companies and their insured’s. During those seven years, I gained valuable experience about the insurance industry, but now I am doing what I always wanted to do, which is represent you.
But why hire an attorney? Well, from the moment you have an accident and a claim is made, the insurance companies are working behind the scenes on your case, so it is important you do everything you can to not jeopardize any potential recover you may be entitled too. As your attorney, my job is to help you to avoid the pitfalls and assist you with the claims process all the way through trial if need be. I will be there with you every step of the way to the conclusion of your case. I will make sure the insurance companies treat your injury fairly and reasonably.
In order the do that, here are some important things to remember: report you accident and injury to your insurance company, as late notice may result in your insurance company denying your claim. Make sure you get examined by a doctor, whether it is your personal physician, walk-in clinic or emergency room, because there may be a serious issue that needs immediate medical attention.
Sometimes symptoms do not develop until the next day or even days after the accident. If that happens, do not hesitate to see a doctor. When you see any doctor for the first time, make sure you give them a complete and accurate medical history for both your past and current aches and pains. This will allow the doctor to accurately diagnose you and determine whether the accident caused the injury. This is very important and could affect the outcome of your claim. Finally, keep track of all your bills and medical information. I always tell my clients to keep a folder or notebook just for the accident. You will be receiving a lot of mail from many different sources and these items can be easily lost if not kept together in a central location. While I am sure there are many more things I could tell you that would help you manage your claim, each case is different, so I will personally work with you on any problems that may arise.
As I stated earlier, your injury is personal to me and I will work hard to make sure you receive just treatment from the insurance companies. I look forward working with you and for you on your personal injury claims.
